PHOENIX -- Phoenix police say they were forced to shoot two dogs after they attacked a city worker in a park Tuesday morning. A witness said he was walking his dog in Mariposa Park near 33rd and Northern avenues when he saw what he thought was a dead body and called 911.
This was the most horrible thing I have heard in a long time. I can't imagine the fear and pain this man must have felt. I know the people said someone else let the dogs out of the yard, but truly it is the owners responsibility, to MAKE sure they know where those dogs are at all times.
This is an avoidable life altering event.
